García Ramírez (Basque: Gartzea Remiritz), sometimes García IV, V, VI or VII (c. 1112 – 21 November 1150), called the Restorer (Spanish: el Restaurador, Basque: Berrezarlea), was the King of Navarre (Pamplona) from 1134. The election of García Ramírez restored the independence of the Navarrese kingdom after 58 years of political union with the Kingdom of Aragon. After some initial conflict he would align himself with king Alfonso VII of León and Castile, and as his ally take part in the Reconquista.

Urraca of Castile, Queen of Navarre
Urraca Alfonso (1133 – c. 1179), also known as Urraca the Asturian (Asturian: l'Asturiana; Spanish: la Asturiana), illegitimate daughter of Alfonso VII of León, was Queen Consort of Navarre by her marriage to García Ramírez. After becoming a widow, she returned to her homeland and was the regent of Asturias from 1153 to 1165. Urraca was involved in a rebellion against her half-brother, King Ferdinand II of León and with her second husband, Álvaro Rodríguez de Castro attempted to secure the independence of Asturias.

Margaret of L'Aigle (French: Marguerite de L'Aigle, Spanish: Margarita de L’Aigle) (died 1141) was Queen of Navarre as the first wife to García Ramírez of Navarre. She was the daughter of Gilbert of L'Aigle and Juliana du Perche, daughter of Geoffrey II, Count of Perche.
